Configuring the file protocol

For a development setup, you can use the file protocol instead of ftp for transferring assets (images, import CSV files) to the server via the Commerce Manager client. Log in to Commerce Manager and configure the VFS settings as follows:

COMMERCE/APPSPECIFIC/RCP/ASSETS/vfsProtocol	file
`COMMERCE/APPSPECIFIC/RCP/ASSETS/vfsRootpath`	The path to your assets. For example, C:/trunk/store-data/camera-stores/assets

Warning:

Make sure the vfsPort, vfsUsername, vfsHost, and vfsPassword settings are empty.
