The Commerce Manager server is a web application that exposes core services to Commerce Manager Clients through Remote Procedure Calls (RPC).

  • Executing certain scheduled batch jobs for the storefronts and Commerce Manager Clients
  • Providing Commerce Manager clients with access to the following centralized services:
    • Payment processing
    • Email sending
    • User authentication
    • Centralized file storage system CRUD operations
    • Search index refresh
