Storefront Server Clustering

This section explains how to set up a cluster of servers with an Apache HTTP Server as the load balancer and rsync for file synchronization.

A cluster of storefront servers can distribute work evenly across all the servers while appearing as a single server to customers. Each server contains an instance of the storefront.

Requirements

For this configuration, each server in the cluster has Tomcat 7 installed.
