The Integration Server webapp is added to the extensions project by the Inception Accelerator Kit. It is horizontally scalable and is used in client projects for back-end integrations using the following technologies:

• Apache Camel - a framework for asynchronous integration that provides concrete implementations of Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIPs), connectivity to a wide variety of transports and APIs, and Domain Specific Languages to wire EIPs and transports together.
• Apache CXF - a framework for SOAP and REST web services.
• Spring Security - for securing Apache CXF services
