Deployment Guidelines

  1. Refer to the Elastic Path Commerce Deployment Guide for information on deploying the EP Commerce Author and Live environments.
  2. The AEM Author instance communicates directly with Cortex in the EP Commerce Author environment.
  3. The AEM Publish instances communicate with the Cortex Load Balancer in the EP Commerce Live environment.
  4. A Reverse Proxy or an API Gateway is required to route client AJAX requests to Cortex. Cortex should not be exposed directly to the Internet.
