Data Policies
A data policy is a collection of data points for a specific customer. A data point is a specific piece of information about a customer. For example, when a customer orders an item, you collect two data points: name and address.
Use data policies to maintain compliance with various data protection laws, such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Design your storefront or other shopper experiences to present customers with the option to provide or revoke consent for the collection of their personal data.
