Bloomreach Feed Plugin Mappings

Bloomreach requires the following attributes to consume the Bloomreach Feed plugin:

• description
• url
• large_image
• thumb_image

Any data in the attributes are automatically added into the Bloomreach Feed plugin file. Elastic Path does not contain these attributes by default. You can create custom attributes in Elastic Path Commerce Manager to match the Bloomreach attributes, or you can use any existing attributes and map the attributes in the Bloomreach portal.

Create Custom Attributes

To use a new custom attribute, you must name the attribute the same as the attribute in the Bloomreach portal, such as large_image. For more information about creating attributes, see Elastic Path Global Attributes.

Map Existing Elastic Path Attributes

You can map existing attributes from Elastic Path to Bloomreach to use attributes with a different name. For example, if an attribute is called productimage_large in Elastic Path, you can be map it to the large_image field in Bloomreach. In the Bloomreach portal, add the name of the Elastic Path attribute that maps to the Bloomreach attribute in the Arguments column.
