You can manage flows and fields on the Flows page.
Flows allow you to extend an existing resource or create a new resource. They can be used to create simple custom fields for existing resources, or complex collections of fields and data. You can create useful resources for your customers, such as a want list, or blogs for your store.

Sorting and filtering flows
You can sort the list by Name, Slug, Description or Status.
You can filter the list to show only Enabled or Disabled flows.
Creating a flow
Select + New Flow.
Enter a Name, Slug, and Description.
Select whether this flow is Enabled.
The Flows > fields page opens.
Select Flow Settings to change Name, Slug, or Description.
Adding fields to a flow
On the Flows > Fields page, select +New Field.
Choose a Field Type.
Field Type Description Boolean A data type that can only have one of two values, such as
Float A number that includes decimal fractions, such as
Integer A number that can be written without a fractional or decimal component. For example,
String A sequence of characters; that is, letters, numerals, symbols, and punctuation marks. Date A valid date is a specially-formatted string of numbers and hyphens (
YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS-- time (
HH:MM:SS) is optional).
Relationship A relationship between this flow and a Commerce Cloud resource, such as Products. You can have several relationships in a flow.
Enter the common settings.
The following settings are common to all field types:
Setting Description Name The name of the field. Slug A unique slug identifier for the field. Description A description for this field. Required Field? Choose Yes or No. Default Value A default value if no value is supplied and field is not required. Order Select a number from the list. The order in which this field is returned relative to the rest of the flow fields.
Enter the Validation settings. These vary depending on field type.
Validation setting Description Boolean No validation. Float, Integer You can enter a range of valid values or a list of valid values. String You can validate this string as an email, slug, or uuid, or enter a list of valid string options. Date The date must match the standard date format described previously. You can list valid dates. Relationship You can choose One to One or One to Many as the relationship type, and select the Resource. The Resource can be one of Products, Brands, Collections, Categories, Customers, Orders or Promotions.
After your flow has been created, you can edit it from the Flows page, or by selecting the name of the flow in the Dashboard navigation area under the Flows heading.
